A general answer to your question as to whether lipo can be performed on areas that had been previously approached then answer is yes. Whether repeat lipo in your particular case would be appropriate is a different matter. Repeat lipo of your back may accentuate the folds that you see there. Lipo on the flanks and abdomen would help. Sometimes repeat lipo can not only help reduce any remaining fat volume but may also help smoothen the results from the first procedure.

Using the same filler and for the same indication then the final result can vary even on the same patient! I have many patients on anabolic steroids. Each person needs to be evaluated individually in light of the medical reason that they are being treated with steroids. Taking that evaluation into account I have not found that a person needs to be off of steroids before lipocontouring surgery and can resume them soon after surgery.

Well, it’s wonderful that you have been able to lose so much weight but skin does not often respond as we would like. You would need to have that excess skin actually cut off with the resultant scars hidden as well as possible in normal body folds. I think this would do wonders for you!

I recommend beginning conservatively with a filler to your smile lines in order to soften them a bit. From there other steps could be employed as your are able to assess the changes. These steps might be facial lipocontouring, facial implants, skin resurfacing, and the list goes on.

Fillers are used to try and give people lips just such as the ones you have! God for you! I understand about the fine lines but I would be afraid that trying to fill each one of those would only make your complaint worsen. Sigh….I would recommend superficial treatments such as hydrations and, perhaps, a more full-type makeup such as theatrical makeup, at least until the lips tend to loose the fine wrinkles.

Good heavens, you are are only ten days after a procedure that cause an immense amount of swelling and firmness in the areas during the recovery phase. I guess I’m most surprised that you weren’t made more aware of this during your pre-operative discussions. This is all normal and will subside but it will be gradual taking as long as 6-8 months, perhaps even longer. Compressive garments, warm soaks, gentle massages can sometimes help facilitate the recovery.

After only a week almost any garment would cause creases because of the degree of swelling that an area goes through following this procedure. You could try wearing a bulky t-shirt under the garment that can help distribute the compression and make creasing less likely. Usually these creases will disappear as swelling disappears but, alas, sometimes they do not so accommodations often need to be made in the overlying garment.
