This beauty's biggest concern was that she "looks sad all the time" related to downturning of the corners of the mouth. This occurs because of loss of support and structure in the marionette area, or pre-jowl sulcus, as well as at the corners of the mouth (oral commissures). She was treated with 1 syringe of Restylane Defyne at the corners of the mouth and the area below the mouth. By restoring volume and adding support in these areas, the corners of the mouth now rest in a neutral position. Also, the shadowing below the mouth is much improved related to restoring volume here. While you can definitely appreciate the improvement in these pictures, in person it was even more dramatic, both as rest as well as with expressions and talking.
