Hi Megs0045 – it is common for post surgical scars to develop areas of hypertrophy or contracture. Typically these can be improved with a combination of injection with intralesional steroids and CO2 resurfacing at our office. From your photos, it appears that this scar could be improved and flattened – I would recommend consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
