Your goals to reduce your dorsum and shorten your nose are definitely possible in general, but computer imaging is a tool to get an idea of the changes that are possible with rhinoplasty and not a blueprint of your final rhinoplasty goal.

What you have imaged for your nose is an achievable goal. You have astutely figured out that when the dorsal hump is removed the tip of the nose looks long and some slight adjustment needs to be done to it as well. First, it’s good that you are trying to explain the result you want. It will help your surgeon communicate what can be done. Second, it looks like you might have made your nose a bit too small in proportion to your face.

The computer imaged photographs do appear to be obtainable and realistic. The dorsal hump is composed of bone and cartilage and must be shaved down in order to remove it. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are also required. The length of the nose can also be adjusted through closed rhinoplasty techniques. I think your goals are realistic. But the only way to know what truly can be achieved is by having and examination and consultation. Photo imaging is a great way to communicate, but it is not a predication or guarantee of a surgical outcome. You should seek a facial plactic surgeon who actually specializes in rhinoplasty.
