What you should know about rhinoplasty: benefits and risks
Bulbous tip
I cannot say 100% as it is difficult to see how thick the skin on the tip of your nose is. I say that because doing surgery on the tip to make it look more refined can always be done, but how much detail will show will depend greatly on the thickness of the skin.
Thick skin means less definition, thin skin shows more definition. (Julio Garcia, MD, Las Vegas Plastic Surgeon)
Rhinoplasty candidacy
A complete in person exam is the best way to determine your needs. Your width and tip do have element of size that you may not like.
More information and examination would be needed to determine what you exactly need. See an experienced board certified rhinoplasty surgeon. Good luck (David C. Yao, MD, FACS, Phoenix Plastic Surgeon)
Poor Definition and Bulbous Nasal Tip
Your entire nose is wide including the tip which is bulbous. You can achieve better proportions and tip definition with rhinoplasty surgery.
I need to see other views to evaluate the rest of your nose. (Richard W. Fleming, MD, Beverly Hills Facial Plastic Surgeon)
your nose is too large for your face. You are a pretty lady and would benefit from Rhinoplasty surgery. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns. (Robert E. Zaworski, MD, Atlanta Plastic Surgeon)
I feel as if my nose is not defined or is bulbous? Would I benefit from Rhinoplasty?
I think that your nose could be refined with a closed rhinoplasty and no visible scars. Find a rhinoplasty expert who produces natural results. (Kenneth B. Hughes, MD, Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon)
Tip rhinoplasty benefits and risks
You would benefit from a reduction of the lower cartilages of your nose to give your tip more definition and less bulbosity.
The maneuvers to accomplish this are well defined and should be reproducible in your case. A profile photo can help to assess wether any reduction of your dorsum is also in order. (John Michael Thomassen, MD, Fort Lauderdale Plastic Surgeon)
I feel as if my nose is not defined or is bulbous? Would I benefit from Rhinoplasty?
Yes the nasal tip needs more definition but without additional views it is difficult to tell what needs to be done with the bony vault. Best to go to a board certified Plastic surgeon for a proper evaluation (Constance M. Barone, MD, San Antonio Plastic Surgeon)
Your nasal tip is not well defined (amorphous). A tip plasty will improve the definition and make it flow better with your sharp features. (Tanveer Janjua, MD, Bedminster Facial Plastic Surgeon)
