Combined chin and nose surgery.

The rhinopalsty and genioplasty is a powerful combination especially if the chin surgery is done through a sliding osteotomy. An ostetomy will improve the area below the chin also (submental area).

Since you have forced your lips closed in the picture it is difficult to be sure about the magnitude of the chin imperfection and the length of the face.

Do I Need a Rhinoplasty and Chin Implant?

It would be beneficial to have both a rhinoplasty and chin implant to improve your profile if that is possible for you.

If financially feasible do both at the same time because it will cost les and you’ll only have one operation.

The rhinoplasty and chin implant combination is very common in our practice and helps significantly with facial balance.

The photograph demonstrates an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. The rhinoplasty procedure would involve shaving the dorsal hump down and decreasing projection of the nose, while a chin implant would be inserted through a sub-mental approach to give added projection to the chin.

Reduction of the nose to get it in balance with the rest of the face is an important goal when planning a rhinoplasty. A chin implant will help significantly to achieve improved balance for the whole face.

At the same time a very minimal liposuction (perhaps only 5-10cc) may also may also help separate your jawline from the neck. If you were to have some suctioning in that area, that fat would no longer be there to increase in size, if you gain some weight.
