Most of the time full abdominoplasty is the correct choice. The reason being you want to plicate, or tighten, the muscles which contribute to the convex appearance of your abdomen. This also has certain beneficial effects anatomically by taking stress of your lower back and restoring a more natural, lordotic posture. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

At 4 months the implants should have dropped, especially if you have been following the daily massage protocol. I use an axillary band postoperatively on patients who have a tighter pocket as well.
