Great questions! You are correct, for most people Renuva is too expensive for large volume treatments. Renuva was created for small volume correction, like replenishing age-related volume-loss in the face and hands, smoothing unwanted dimples, bumps and irregularities anywhere fat exists naturally in the body.

That being said, the makers of Renuva intend on creating a new, large volume treatment and I can't wait to get my hands on it – although it could be years.

Both Renuva and Sculptra work well for curvy hips. I have used both in my practice, and my patients have been very happy with the results. Sculptra triggers the body's own production of collagen, while Renuva acts like a honeycomb that is then replaced by the body's own fat. Both Sculptra and Renuva disappear over the course of a few months post treatment.  With Renuva, the body's own fat is left in the area injected.
