My own bias is to keep patients away from any activity that will raise their blood pressure for two weeks. Then I let patients ease their way into their normal exercise routine over the next two weeks. Most patients are doing everything they like by a month after surgery. Ask your doctor what they recommend.
I am afraid of brain damage and death. What can you tell me that will ease my fears?

There is risk to everything we do. You can be killed crossing the street. The risk for an elective surgery in the united states is very small. If you got in your car and drove for three hours, you would probably put yourself at greater risk (I'm not talking about your driving ability, just statistics.) Discuss these concerns with your surgeon prior to your surgery so he can address your concerns.

Only your surgeon knows what he did at surgery. Go back and ask him what to expect.Remember to be patient; rhinoplasty surgery takes a long time to settle. Changes happen for a full year.

If a surgeon does not have control of his office staff, he may not have control of his operating room staff. What would happen if his operating room staff were not paying attention at a critical time in the operation? Maybe that staff is underpaid and resentful and would try to sabotage your experience. The office staff is a direct reflection of the physician. Maybe it means that he simply doesn't care about your office visits or your overall experience. Find yourself another provider....

The wide tip of your nose could be narrowed. This would give your nose a more feminine appearance. The volume of the tip of your nose is produced for the most part by cartilage in the tip. This cartilage can be reduced and adjusted to reduce the size of the tip of your nose.

It looks like from your pictures that you fairly recently had your surgery. In my experience, a 550 cc implant will take a full six months to drop completely. This change will not be real noticable in your clothing. Be patient!

Two things to make sure you discuss with your surgeon are the incision and the desired result. The result can be simulated on a 3D image. This, I find, is a very helpful way to communicate. Second, with your history of scarring, you need to be well versed in incision choices and scar treatment. No matter what incision is used, I would recommend using Scar Recovery gel by SkinMedica for 6 months after sergery on the scar.
Incision around nipple inside of the areola?

There are several good resaons not to do thawt incision. My first concern would be the amount of scar introduced into the duct system of the breast. This could severly harm ones ability to breast feed. Second, this puts nipple sensation at greater risk. Finally, good studies show that capsular contracture rates are highr in any peri-areolar incision and should be done with proper reverence.

Start by checking board certification. The american board of Plastic Surgery with certify that a surgeon is "above board." This is a great place to start. Next, try to find a surgeon who can provide 3D simulation. This allows you to see what diferent shapes and sizes of implants look like on you. Finaly, choose a surgeon not based on their address, but on their bedside manner. In short, like anything else, choose a practitioner who is compotent,caring, and consistent!

There are companies that will finance cosmetic surgery for you. Like anything, the more you can pay up front, the better. Check with board certified plastic surgeons in your area and I'm sure they would be happy to discuss finance options. You can go through a company like Care Credit, and have the financing done befroe you ever visit a doctor's office.
