Although difficult to judge from the photo alone, I feel that you would do well with breast augmentation. Often, implants are placed beneath the pectoral muscle, which can make the implant less visible and palpable. Silicone gel implants may be better suited for you because they tend to have less wrinkling. You should be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon to better advise you regarding implant type and size. Good luck.

Sorry you’re experiencing this. You may have anything from a superficial infection to to a more significant issue. If you do have fluid collecting in the wound (also known as a seroma), it may need to be drained. Your doctor may send that fluid to the lab for testing to check for evidence of infection. The reason for the incision being seemingly so long is that all the redundant skin needs to be removed – if the incision is too short, you end up with ‘dog ears’ or excess protuberant skin at either end of the incision. The incision should be placed as low as possible so as to allow you to wear a bathing suit or low cut pants.

I don’t believe it will make a significant difference if Sientra implants are used. Initially the breasts may appear fuller and firmer since there may be some swelling, and if they are placed behind the muscle, the implant will be higher initially until it settles in its final position. A higher profile implant may be minimally helpful if the drooping is mild. You may need a simultaneous breast lift if the droopiness is significant.

You are justified to be concerned about safety issues as this surgery should not be minimized. My advice is to see a plastic surgeon who is board-certified, and does tummy tucks frequently in a safe setting. The risk, however, of complications occurring is small. Usually breast augmentation / lift can be performed simultaneously as the tummy tuck.

Based on the photographs supplied, it appears that the implants are filling the entire breast, and the tissue appears to be fairly taught. the implants seem to be filling the upper pole of the breasts.
