Wound healing is not complete for a year to a year and a half. Muscle work usually delays exercise for 4-6 weeks. You can usually stand up straight in 1-2 weeks. Of course it depends on how tight the skin is. Best to discuss with you doctor.

Tummy tuck is usually done as an outpatient procedure. It normally takes about 2 hours and then you are in recovery room for about 2 hours. Walking is very important in the postoperatve period to avoid blood clots. I normally see my patients the very next day. The dressings are removed and then placed in an abdominal binder which decreases pain. No heavy lifting usually allowed for 4-6 weeks because of the muscle repair. Best to you.

With muscle tightening I recommend no heavy lifting for 4-6 weeks. Usually it is nothing over 10 pounds. It is very important to walk in the postoperative period to avoid blood clots from forming.
