What can I do to treat my skin?
Acne and exfoliation
Mar 5, 2018
Believe it or not, over-exfoliation can cause or aggravate acne! Dermatologists use creams and oral medications to calm down oil production, inflammation, and hormones that all cause acne. A good over the counter start would be Differin (adapalene) 0.1% gel. Applied to the entire face at bed-time. Starting 3x per week, and slowly increasing to nightly. And a benzoyl peroxide 2-5% cream applied in the morning. Limit exfoliating the skin to once per week. I would see a dermatologists however…
Normal healing?
Wound
Mar 5, 2018
The scar seems a little irritated – but overall looks fine! I would keep covered with Vaseline or Aquaphor, and a non-stick gauze. I’d keep away from adhesives.
Lumps 2 weeks after Restylane injection. Do I need to have them dissolved? Is the filler too superfici
Lumps after filler
Mar 5, 2018
Lumps after filler and yours in particular could be caused by either too much product, the wrong product, or incorrect placement (too superficial). In your case, it might be a combination of too much placed too superficially. It might need to be at least partially dissolved to get it more even.

Filler for under eyes
Mar 5, 2018
In my opinion and according to the photos, you seem like a great candidate for filler under the eyes! Restylane is one example of a filler used in that area. Cost can vary from 600-900 per treatment. Usually one treatment is enough.
Irregular mole? I have developed this mole on my face in the last year.
Irregular mole
Mar 5, 2018
Any moles that are new and seem irregular should be seen by a dermatologist. The good news is: most of the time it is just an exam and that’s it! Dermatologists are trained to be able to tell bad from good, without the need for a biopsy unless absolutely necessary. So it might be a quick, reassuring visit.
Which tests need to be done while you are on roaccutane, Alt, AST, QQT?
Lab tests and isotretinoin
Mar 5, 2018
You need liver tests (usually AST and ALT is enough), lipid panel (cholesterol, triglycerides), CBC (blood count), and pregnancy test for females.
Nose bridge filler cannot dissolve but it became worse
Filler reactions
Mar 5, 2018
Filler reactions (lumps, bumps and swelling) need 1) a lot of TLC, so time, and tender care; 2) Dissolving attempts with hyaluronidase – sometimes multiple attempts; 3) Sometimes I add oral antibiotics such as Clarithromycin or Levaquin or Minocycline; 4) Other injections like Kenalog (steroid) can help with filler reactions. Make sure you are visiting board-certified Dermatologists (as in, they completed their residency in dermatology) and ideally someone who does a lot of cosmetics….
