It is unlikely the two events are connected. If however you did get considerable swelling from the nose – transmitted to the ears via the eustachian tube, this could temporarily magnify a ringing sensation.

Most likely any slight bruising will be gone by three weeks. Swelling and slight soreness will not be gone, though. Also any skin tightening from the smartlipo laser will not have had much time to work.

Week by week things will change, and by mid summer you will see more of the nice progress you are waiting for.

A good surgeon will get a good result with each of the several variations of liposuction available. Each method has its own minor advantages and disadvantages.

Smartlipo refers to the laser which melts the fat and also creates some skin tightening. The fat still needs to be suctioned, following the lasering. The neck and arms especially will show the benefits of the laser for tightening.
