Latisse is a safe product and is designed to be used over long periods of time. The risk for change in eye color is very rare. The typical change in eye color is seen in patients who use these types of drugs IN their eye for glaucoma. The pigmented cells (brow color) in the iris are sensitive to the product.

Always try to use only 1 drop once a day to minimize side effects.

Why Do You Have to Use a New Brush for Each Application on Each Eye with Latisse?

I recommend using a fine disposable brush for each lid.  These can be purchased from a beauty shop.  The Allergan Latisse brush is too large and rough.  Fine liner disposable brushes reduce the amount of product per application and reduce the chance for product getting on the skin or into the eye.

Make sure you are not using too much product on the lash.  A disposable thin 'liner' brush is much less likely to cause the product to get on the eye and cause irritation to the surface of the eyeball. Although the cause of the change in your vision is most likely not due to the Latisse, it is very important to see an ophthalmologist to confirm there is no other reason for your change in vision. Please consider stopping the Latisse until you see your ophthalmologist….
