Statement: Dr. Nadia Mostovych is a facial plastic surgeon practicing at Belcara Health in Baltimore, Maryland. Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Mostovych performs a broad offering of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures—both surgical and nonsurgical—on the face and neck, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty (eye lifts), facelifts, and neck lifts, as well as laser skin resurfacing, dermal fillers, Botox, and many more.
Dr. Mostovych earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore before completing both her internship and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was during these rigorous years of honing her expertise in facial anatomy, surgical technique, and diseases of the head and neck that she fell in love with aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
After seeing the transformative power of these procedures, and how they could dramatically improve patients’ lives, both physically and emotionally, she decided to advance her knowledge even further. She completed a prestigious fellowship with Dr. Devinder Mangat in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at his practice in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Upon joining Belcara Health in Baltimore, Dr. Mostovych quickly became recognized for her compassionate nature, collaborative approach to developing personalized patient treatment plans, and contributions to facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Mostovych is frequently called upon to share her expertise, particularly on the subjects of rhinoplasty and skin cancer reconstruction, at national meetings in her field and on local television news segments alike. She has also been the author of multiple publications, including an article in the peer-reviewed Aesthetic Surgery Journal. She’s currently working on a textbook chapter about face and neck lifts.
She is a member of both the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Mostovych is particularly passionate about using her skills to help support underserved communities. She has traveled to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Belize to serve in medical and surgical missions, performing procedures to help address cleft lip and palate deformities, nasal trauma and obstruction, ear malformations, treat skin cancer, and more concerns. Dr. Mostovych’s altruism was honored by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation with the distinguished Humanitarian Travel Award.
Dr. Mostovych is a Maryland native who grew up in Silver Spring. She’s proud to help patients in her home state feel more comfortable, confident, and healthy every day. As a second-generation Ukranian-American, she is fully bilingual in both Ukranian and English.
When not helping her patients, Dr. Mostovych spends her free time enjoying everything Maryland has to offer, including sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and hiking. Dr. Mostovych also enjoys yoga, skiing, photography, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and goldendoodle.
