After 7 days, all scabs are removed. Slight redness may still exist in recipient area for a few days to a couple weeks. If you have done the strip method, at this point after the scabs are gone, you look like you did before the procedure. We make sure all of our procedures are virtually painless. With the ARTAS System FUE the recovery is quick and very little discomfort the day after the procedure, mainly due to the fact there is no suture in the scalp. The wounds are closed the next day and hair starts growing in the donor area immediately.
