Thanks for your question. This is not a new procedure and has been done for years. I find it to be of limited value though for most patients. Most wrinkles on the lower lid area are “static” wrinkles and are not caused from contraction of the facial muscles and therefore it does not always provide the results patients are hoping to achieve.

It is not too soon, and since everyone is different and may require different amounts to achieve their optimal results, I would highly encourage you to return to your provider and express your concerns. Your provider may be able to use a slightly different technique or amount to get you the results you desire.
