I have injected Botox and, more recently Xeomin, for many years including thousands of treatments. The best things about these neuromodulators are reliability, safety, and simplicity. There is no mandated pre or post treatment instructions. I advise patients to simply do whatever they normally do!

I see no reason to wait at all. Both are safe, minor proceedures and I dont see a risk or drawback with doing them close together. We have excellent results with both!
Is Halo the way to go for ice pick acne scars?

I think that acne scars are extremely difficult to treat and often require more aggressive treatment. I probably would forego Halo and consider fractional CO2 laser, perhaps coupled with Bellafill injections (for the scars that are flat-based). You might expect 50-70% improvement with that combination.

Your skin looks uncomfortable and not at all what would be expected 6 days after Halo laser. You definitely should contact the treating physician. My treatment would be holding any products you are currently using and washing with mild cleanser like Cetaphil cleanser, then applying 2.5% hydrocortisone ointment twice a day for a week or so.

I believe that Halo + BBL is the best treatment for fine lines, sun damaged spots, red veins and irregular surface texture. Halo + BBL combination treatment has minimal downtime and has resulted in some of my happiest patients. You should definitely consider it for the problems represented in your picture.
