Dysport (like Botox) is dissolved in bacteriastatic saline. It always leaves a little lump upon injection. The fluid is reabsorbed by the body within 24 hours. Your injector may have dissolved the neurotoxin in a large volume of saline which mean each injection would have more fluid to be absorbed. I bet the lumps are gone by now.

Your problem is not unusual. I have seen at least a dozen just like it - in fact my daughter has the same problem. About every 4 months I inject a small amount of botox which solves the problem. It will take an experienced injector but you should not have a problem finding one. Be sure to ask if they have treated this problem before. Good Luck

That is a good question StaceyVk. When fillers are received by our office they usually have 2-4 years of self life depending on the product. Your injector should have a record of the material used and its lot number indication the expiration date. In reality most fillers are still good long past the expiration date. In my practice the most effective laser to treat sunspots on the face has been the Sciton broad band light (BBL). It does a wonderful job of consistently lightening brown spots while making the skin look younger. This laser treatment has minimal downtime. Most patients are slightly pink and puffy for 1-2 days and then they’re back to normal. It normally takes 2-3 treatments for full correction of brown spots.

Good question. Most patients, especially young patients like you, have beautiful results with one halo resurfacing treatment. There are several patients that love the results so much that they choose to have a second treatment 6-12 months after their first.
