Thank you for your question. Each doctor has their own protocol when it comes to doing local cases. You will be given oral medications, usually an anti-anxiety and pain medication is given prior to the procedure. You will be injected with lidocaine as well and will not feel a thing. Most of the time a blepharoplasty is performed awake in the office with just oral sedation. The procedure takes about 2 hours and recovery is fairly easy.

Thank you for your question and photos. Facial asymmetry is completely normal and we all have some asymmetry to some degree. To help balance out the face, you can do fillers and botox. As far as making your eyelids symmetrical, a bilateral upper blepharoplasty can make your appearance seem more awake and even out your eyelids at the same time. Be sure to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience.Best of luck!

You have a broad and flat nasal appearance which can be fixed with just one surgery, but the possibility of a revision is always there with any surgery.  In order to avoid any additional surgeries, be sure to go to an experienced and board certified plastic surgery and ENT who is experienced with ethnic rhinoplasty procedures. Choosing the right surgeon will help reduce the possibility of revision surgeries.Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to bring your nasal tip down. This requires lengthening the nose and is frequently done by using cartilage from your septum or rib to create grafts and bring down the tip. Hello and Thanks for the Question, All of my patients who under nasal surgery (septoplasty, rhinoplasty, valve repair) are prescribed pain medications typically hydrocodone/acetaminophen combo. Most use this the first 2-3 days and then transition to acetaminophen alone or nothing at all. Hello & Thank You for the Question, The number of vials needed depends on each individual's specific situation. There are instances that I have injected 1 vial based on patient preference, but most patients usually need more. I typically suggest 2-3 sessions with 2-3 vials per session for optimal outcome. I like seeing patient 2 weeks post injection to evaluate for any irregularities which can be addressed. Once the swelling is resolved and if a bump is noted, massaging can be used to smooth out the bump.
