How much reduction can I expect for my bulbous nose?
You Can Have a Better Nose
Dec 6, 2018
Hi there,Yes, you should consider rhinoplasty. The tip is very bulbous and the bridge low and narrow.Do the homework to find a surgeon who likes doing noses, does a lot of them and whose before and after photos on the practice's website gallery look natural and satisfactory to you.Read books, visit websites, be sure to have computer imaging at your consultation.  You want to do it right the first time.Best wishes.
My nose is too thin after rhinoplasty, is it possible to make my tip bigger? (Pics)
You Should Consider Non-surgical Revision Rhinoplasty. Temporary or Permanent
Dec 6, 2018
Hi, You may be fortunate is that if you can avoid a surgical revision and have filler instead, that would be quite good. Check it out.
Is it too soon for final results at 1.5 years post?
Yes, Time for Another Evaluation. Second Opinions Are Always Advisable.
Dec 6, 2018
Hi there.Nature has finished its work so time to re-evaluate. What does your surgeon say? What is the plan?A second opinion is always wise. Be sure to bring your photo gallery and all medical records. And, a list of questions.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
Should I get a 2nd opinion from another plastic surgeon?
A Bit Early to Draw Any Conclusions But Never a Mistake to Have Second Opinion
Dec 6, 2018
Hi there,It takes 3-4 months for the nose to reach 90% of the final result. It may yet improve. What does your surgeon say? Does he/she think something needs to be done now or, of not, when?If you are not clear on the surgeon's plan, do have another office visit. It is never a mistake to have a second opinion. You will sleep better knowing more. If you choose to do that, be sure to bring all photos and medical records.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
Nostril Reduction? Best method?
Have You Considered the Non-surgical Option, Filler?
Dec 3, 2018
Hi there,You might want to consider a filler - temporary or permanent - instead of surgery. For many that is the right decision, particularly if you are concerned about scarring.Check it out.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
Is my nose skin too thick for a rhinoplasty?
Skin Thickness Is an Important Factor in Rhinoplasty
Nov 30, 2018
Hi there. You are wise to be concerned about thick skin. It does impose some limitations. It is all about the consultation. You want to do the surgery right the first time. Your best bet is to see a surgeon who does lots of noses and has experience w Asian noses since many Asian patients do indeed have thick skin.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
Can I get my bridge reduced while getting an NHS rhinoplasty?
Usually Best to Combine Breathing and Cosmetic Nose Surgery
Nov 30, 2018
Hello,With the right surgeon, both can be done at the same time. The challenge for you is to find the surgeon with both skills. Be sure to have computer imaging to see what is expected. Do the homework. You want to do it right the first time.Best wishes.Robert Kotler MD, FACS
What needs to be done to get a nose that resembles my birth nose?
Consider Non-surgical Revision Rhinoplasty, Temporary or Permanent
Nov 29, 2018
Hi,Bumps and troughs may be amenable to non-surgical instead of surgical revision. Check w your surgeon. You can consider consulting with another surgeon, also. Second opinion never is the wrong thing to do.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
What are my options for uneven nostrils 2 years post rhinoplasty?
You May Be a Candidate for Non-surgical Revision Rhinoplasty
Nov 29, 2018
Hello,
Check w your surgeon and ask about temporary or permanent non-surgical revision rhinoplasty.  It may be the best answer instead of another surgery. It can work well for nostril asymmetry.
Best wishes.
Will this revision rhinoplasty be easier than most?
You Should Not Fear Revision Surgery
Nov 29, 2018
Hi,Your situation is not usual and you should not fear another procedure. My advice to you would be that you should bring all your photos and medical records to the nasal surgeon whom you are consulting if you are going to go for a second opinion, which is generally wise. Would suggest that you ask your surgeon or the second opinion surgeon to be sure to anesthetize the interior of your nose to be able to best check the structure and make sure there should be no loss of strength with ...

You Are a Good Candidate for Rhinoplasty
Nov 28, 2018
Hello.   You are an attractive lady and you do not need an aggressive rhinoplasty; just some refinement. The tip depression is due to an overactive muscle that is easily released at the time of surgery to cure the problem.Consultation will be very important. Do you homework. Study website, photo galleries, the computer imaging examples of the before, imaged result and then the actual result.  You will get a good idea of the surgeon's skill level.Read reviews and check the Professional Bio...

Dark Circles Dependant on Your Skin Type
Nov 28, 2018
Hello, and you will appreciate what I will now tell you. If you have dark skin with dark circles under the eyes, it can  be accentuated by surgery. But , temporarily. Could take 3-6 months to go away. People from the Middle East w darker skin are more subject to it. If you have very light skin, if you get dark circles they should be gone in 4-6 weeks. Everyone is different and that is why you should consultations to discuss in detail . Tough to tell you more without photos.Best wishes.

Consultatation with Superspecialist Recommended
Nov 14, 2018
Hello, Dr. Kotler here.Time for some consultations with superspecialists, particularly regarding the need for nasal surgery. Whether done " closed" from the inside or " open" using an external incision, revision rhinoplasty success is governed by the experience and skill of the surgeon. Not easy operations, even for the ultra-experienced.The neck issue needs careful attention. From the photos, it may be wise to drop your weight to a more optimal level since the results are related to the ...
How would I go about fixing these imperfections on the tip of my nose?
Definitely Consider Non-surgical Rhinoplasty, Temporary or Permanent
Nov 12, 2018
Hi, there. Dr. Kotler here.Looks like Nature created a bit of assymetry  in the tip. But, you are a very attractive lady w a basically good nose so I would suggest you consider non-surgical options to " even it out". There are temporary or permanent fillers so do some homework .Be sure to have detailed consultations so  you make a wise decision. Computer imaging will be helpful.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
What could be done to my nose? The tip of my nose/my nostrils are the only areas I would really
I would Not Recommend Rhinoplasty nor Non-surgical Rhinoplasty
Nov 12, 2018
Hello, Dr. Kotler here.My best advice is to enjoy your pretty face and  excellent nose. In cosmetic surgery, the venture must have a big upside and a small downside to make sense. You have a nose that most people would cite as an example of a " good natural nose". " When in doubt, do without " would be the correct advice here.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
