Sometimes a person comes into Dr. Rawnsley's office looking for only a plastic surgery procedure, and winds up leaving with a new outlook on life. This patient came to Dr. Rawnsley's office with a desire to improve the appearance of her nose but she didn't want it to look "fake." She met with Dr. Rawnsley and together the two of them discussed different options for approaching the surgery. On inspection the doctor noted her nasal hump. It was also apparent to Dr. Rawnsley that, in proportion to the rest of her face, her nasal tip was overly-wide and slightly downward-pointing. Dr. Rawnsley was able to perform the operation endonasally. He de-projected and rotated her tip. And he successfully performed a profile alignment and nasal narrowing. The patient quickly recuperated and loved what she saw in the mirror.
