Everyone has asymmetries, and the reason you notice your asymmetries more when the camera is flipped is that when you usually see your face in the mirror, it is not reversed in the same way the selfie camera does it. Thank you for your question. I agree with the answers below - this is likely residually contracting muscle. If it has been more than 14 days (i.e. the Botox has fully kicked in then) then I would return to your injector to see if a touch-up is necessary. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. If this mark is where the needle was inserted, it is likely a tiny bruise. If the injection was at a different site, it may be a skin reaction or area of irritation. I would wait for it to go away on its own. If it gets worse, or persists more than several days after treatment, then return to your doctor and have him take a look. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. As mentioned in the answers below, it typically takes 3-4 months for the effects of Botox to resolve... but I hope that your symptoms will improve sooner than that as the surrounding unaffected facial muscles get used to compensating for the temporary change in muscle movement.

Thank you for your question and photos. Botox and fillers used in the correct locations throughout your face can result in a dramatic improvement. You will likely require several syringes of filler for treatment of the cheeks, undereye, and perioral area, and possible the temples. Botox can be used to help raise the eyebrows by injecting the orbicularis muscle and glabella. Hope this helps!

I tell patients they can wash their hair the next day after rhinoplasty as long as they don't get the cast / bandages wet. You should ask your surgeon if this is the case for you. Obviously, avoid getting any bandages on your nose wet before it is time to remove them. I wish you a speedy recovery!

Since you just had the cast removed, a lot of swelling is accumulating in your nose at this time. This is evident from the pictures. Give the swelling time to go down and you will see a definite improvement in the definition of your nose. Hope this helps!

A transcutaneous approach will indeed allow the removal of both extra skin and eyebags. A transconjunctival approach by itself would not allow the removal of extra skin, but a "skin pinch" can be performed afterwards to remove the extra skin. The skin pinch has less risk of ectropion since it is a removal of only skin and does not traverse the structures deep to that. You should consult with a board certified surgeon experienced in these procedures and let him or her choose the technique...

6 months is too short to determine the final outcome. I would wait longer to see what the results are after the hair has fully been allowed to regrow. Note that the density may look worse when viewing the had from a top down view rather than when being looked at straight-on, because of the direction of hair shaft growth. Ultimately if you are still unhappy despite allowing adequate time to pass, then further FUE grafting to the area could be an option to improve patches without hair growth...
