Neither of these things will make any difference at all. Essentially, you don’t have control over the postop swelling, and it isn’t helpful to pretend you do. Having a rhinoplasty is a stressful experience partly because you are handing control of your permanent appearance to a surgeon and the indeterminate forces of your DNA as exemplified by the healing response of your body.
Can alarplasty fix a large nostril/alar crease and therefore make the nose look smaller?

I’m not sure it’s possible to do exactly what you’ve shown in the photoshopped image. (Which is way overdone anyways, it looks too too small in that image). Some improvement is possible, but I think you’d need to be asking yourself is this *really* that big a deal for you? Maybe your nose is not perfect, but who is? Remember, there’s no such thing as a ‘small’ rhinoplasty, or ‘minor tip work’ etc etc.
