Would getting a tattoo being okay after 3 months of 10mg isotretinoin treatment?
Tattoo after Accutane is fine
Nov 30, 2023
Three months is sufficient; you may have the tattoo earlier following accutane. Studies have not shown that accutane interferes with minor procedures.
Is 2 weeks enough time in between stopping doxycycline and starting accutane?
Doxycycline before Accutane
Nov 30, 2023
Yes, 2 weeks is sufficient time between stopping doxycycline and starting accutane. Doxycycline has been eliminated from your system during that period.
Would like to continue Xeomin regime after brain stent surgery & ongoing daily baby aspirin?
Xeomin Safety
Nov 30, 2023
There is no contraindication to restarting Xeomin after brain stent surgery. To minimize/prevent bruising from Xeomin injections, please stop baby aspirin for one week before having the Xeomin procedure. Thank you!
My upper lip pertrudes out further than bottom. is it lip filler or lip flip that is causing thi
Lip update
Jul 22, 2023
That is a great question. Your upper lip is fuller than the lower, while the opposite is the norm (upper to lower lip ratio is 1.6:1). The change likely came from the lip flip and may need to be revised by the surgeon if it does not improve spontaneously over time. Adding filler to the lower lip is a quick fix as it provides more volume on the lower lip and creates balance and natural-looking results.

Mid face
Jul 22, 2023
Step one is to address the mid-face/cheek area with filler (such as Juvederm Voluma) to enhance those areas before focusing on the lower face and around the mouth. The results are natural-looking and provide a youthful look. Longevity is approximately a year, but some effects may be seen even longer.
Could Xeomin be wearing off really fast or not taking as well be a sign I was ripped off?
Wearing off
Jul 22, 2023
Xeomin by nature wears off in most cases faster than botox, but it’s always best to see board certified professionals to avoid dilution.
How long before seeing results? I’ve had Xeomin injections twice now and I only see a slight imp
Improvement
Jul 22, 2023
I suggest waiting up to two weeks post-injection, although results are noted sooner. An increase in units may be needed, so I recommend returning to your injector to have them review and see if you need a touch-up. Often a patient may respond to a specific neuromodulator (botulinum toxin) brand better than another. This will need to be assessed by the injector, who may decide to switch to another neuromodulator brand.
