Bellafill, as a filler, gives natural and long-lasting results. It is great for the laugh, cheeks, and marionette lines. It should NOT be used in the tear trough (under eyes) or in the lips. Both regions have muscles in constant motion and increase the likelihood of lumps forming under the skin. Fillers that are safe in the tear trough region include Belotero, Volbella, and Restylane products.

First, a comprehensive medical acne regimen is needed. By preventing acne, then this reduces the formation of additional dark spots. Aerolase laser and chemical peels are excellent in treating both acne and dark spots. Picking the skin will cause the spots to be even darker which will take longer to heal and can lead to permanent scarring.

Based on the pictures, you may also be experiencing alopecia areta in addition to adrogenetic alopecia. Studies have shown that PRP in effective in treating both alopecia areata and androgentetic alopecia. Hang in there with your Botox treatments. It takes multiple sessions of Botox to weaken the muscles that are causing that wrinkle even if you are not actively frowning. As we age, the muscles in the face become stronger which contributes to wrinkles of the forehead and around the eyes. Botox works by relaxing those muscles.

Morning: Wash with the Cetaphil. You may apply Aczone and clindamycin together in the morning. Keep it simple, mix them in your hand and put on together. Next, apply your sunscreen, and then makeup. At night, wash your face, and then apply the hydroquinone only to the dark spots. Use a tip or even a toothpick (gently) to apply to the dark spots. You will also need a retinoid cream.

I highly recommend a consultation to determine the cause of your alopecia. Based on the pictures, the hair loss may be due to a fungal infection, alopecia areata, or discoid lupus. A fungal culture and/or biopsy is needed.
