Rhinoplasty has little impact on stopping the nose widening when you smile.  The muscles of facial expression pull the outer parts of the nostrils backwards and upwards with smiling, just as they do to the corners of the mouth.  Releasing the muscles that act on the nostrils has an unpredictable outcome and is not well understood.  If there are things you would like to change about your nose when you are not smiling this is worth discussing with a rhinoplasty surgeon.

A modern, structural approach to rhinoplasty should not leave your nose weaker.  However if you received a serious injury to your nose after surgery it would be much more difficult to fix and you may not get as good a result again.  Unless your nose is badly blocked I would not advise rhinoplasty until you have stopped boxing.
Can I get a rhinoplasty if I have a small polyp in one of my sinuses?

It is technically possible to perform rhinoplasty and sinus surgery at the same time. However if the sinus surgery is for infection I would recommend sinus surgery first to cure this before cosmetic surgery.  If the surgery is for a sinus polyp without infection there should not be a problem having this performed at the same time as rhinoplasty.

There should be no problem having a rhinoplasty with braces.  Changing the angle and position of your teeth with braces will not alter the shape of your nose, though it will have an affect off the angle of your upper lip.

Rhinoplasty risks can be listed under general health risks, psychological risks and cosmetic nasal risks.  These risks vary from patient to patient as does the significance and importance of each risk too the individual. It is very important you discuss all these potential risks and weigh them against the potential benefits when you meet your surgeon.  You must also understand the limitations in your particular case as well.
