From what I can see in your pictures, I think your plan is fantastic and completely agree. You have some features to your nose that are nicely corrected with rhinoplasty (slightly elevated bridge, tip that points a little downward, wide and rounded tip, etc…). I have seen this once before. A patient had a rhinoplasty where a braided permanent suture was used. We had to widely open her nose, remove every single suture, flush it with antibiotic solution and then close. No new infections and her nose looks awesome. Do you know what kind of suture was used. A culture of any of the abscess fluid would also help but if there is still foreign material (which I suspect is the case) in your nose, you have to get 100% of it out. The infection will n…
