How long does it take to get the final result of a submentoplasty?
Post op platysma-bands.
Mar 4, 2018
It may take up to 18 months for the skin to tighten over the muscle. When I do see post op bands, I usually inject them with a Neurotoxin (Dysport is my preferred one). The reason is that I want them to be “relaxed” so the skin retract over them. Unfortunately there are cases where a surgeon has to go back at 1 1/2 to re-tighten those bands. In fact my Surgical consent for Neck lift does have a paragraph addressing the issue of recurrence of bands.  Hope it helps.
Bump on rhinoplasty nose. What could it be?
Post op bump
Mar 4, 2018
I would for sure talk to your surgeon. it could be what we call “Bone Callus” and may need to be rasped down. It is quite common. or, if He/She used cartilage graft, the graft could have moved and may need to be removed. Hope it helps.
Could a CT scan show if there is a piece of ear cartilage left in the nose?
Ear Cartilage and CT scan
Mar 4, 2018
A CT scan may not visualized a piece of cartilage since it is not “opaque” like bone .The main thing to do is to get the original Op report. It should state how many pieces of cartilages were used. Hope it helps.
Do I need rhinoplasty or which treatment would you recommend?
Rhynophyma
Mar 4, 2018
this is rhinophyma .  1 of the possible treatment is to use a laser to do a skin resurfacing of the nose. There are different type of lasers.  You need to consult with an expert in Lasers.
I had cheek and jaw implants removed in November, but now I have laxity and visible scar ti
volume and skin laxity
Jan 28, 2018
I would suggest a mini lift to address the skin  laxity first . Then after waiting for the swelling to go down, address the loss of volume with either fat grafting or Fillers. Good luck!
Can I get 14 procedures to my face in a year?
how many procedures per year
Jan 28, 2018
First and foremost: how is your overall health? that could be a limiting factor. Second: the best way to go about it is to combined procedures that will “work” well together: Rhinoplasty and Chin implant. Then before doing a cheek implants , do Fillers injections in the cheeks and TT so as to assess how much volume you are going to need. Then do the forehead lift BEFORE the hair transplant…As you can see you are going to need a in-person consult to go over your options. Good luck!
I have a horizontal line in my chin, which looks like split skin and is creating a groove.
Chin horizontal line
Jan 25, 2018
The least invasive technique would  be to use a filler like  Radiesse to plump up the line . I also use Botox injection (2.5 units) in the mentalis PRIOR to the Radiesse. An other option is subincision . Using a special needle I go “under” the line to sever the sub dermal attachments to “release” the line. Keep in mind that none of those options are permanent. Good luck!
My entire lower face is a mess. What can I do to normalize it, and how much will everything
Overprojected nose and recessive chin
Jan 25, 2018
I would suggest a Rhinoplasty to de project the tip and take down of the hump as well as a chin implant. Then later on possibly filler in the Upper lip to match the lower. Difficult to give you pricing without seeing you in person. But make sure you consult a surgeon who is very familiar with rhinoplasty and facial implants. Good luck.
Eye not even half way open after 6 weeks. What can I do?
Post op swelling
Jan 25, 2018
A pre op picture would be helpful but also to see your face while you raise your eyebrows, smile etc…. it is difficult to asses the range of motion on a still picture. Saying that, it looks like the “droopiness” is quite pronounce. I would re consult with your surgeon to asses the function of the muscles. Hope it helps

Post op swelling
Jan 25, 2018
The pictures are too far to be of any value. Swelling at 5 month is normal but if one side is quite moreswollen than the other then you need to reconsult with your plastic surgeon. Sometimes steroid injection is needed to decrease localized swelling Good luck
Ptosis surgery failed? I’m 5 months post surgery
Levator ptosis repair
Jan 25, 2018
Looking at the picture it seems that you also have a brow asymmetry . One brow seems higher (the right one on the picture) than the other resulting in “showing” more your eyelid. Unfortunately the shadow of the picture doesn’t let us show where the eyelid margin falls on that right eye, so it is difficult to asses the symmetry. It does seem lower than on the left though. Since you are at 5 months post op I would re consult with your surgeon. Failure of Levator ptosis repair is common un…

First and foremost: Be patient!! I always tell my patients that the swelling may take up to 6 months to go down. As the swelling disappear, the tip will settle down, meaning that the projection/rotation will be less than what you see now. Looking at the 38 days pictures, I would say that the results are quite good! Good Luck!
Is it possible to change your eye shape and get eyes like Neymar with plastic surgery? (Pho
Changing Eye shape.
Dec 3, 2017
I would be very careful. In general it is difficult to change someone ‘s eye shape. In fact , as surgeons, when we do perform eyelid surgery we try to avoid any changes, except to “rejuvenate” the eyes. The main issue is that if the surgery does fail, it may not be possible to “go back” to your original eye shape, and you may become quite distressed. I would consult with Experts in the field of Occuloplastic surgery.
I’ve been getting wrinkles under the eyes below eyelashes.
Under the eyes wrinkles

I would suggest Neurotoxin injections: Botox, then a Filler like Belotero. The downtime is only few days with the fillers. But make sure you are going to an expert Injector. Good luck!

Truly not a problem. Just make sure you don’t take any blood thinner like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Fish oil ect..Good luck with the surgery.
