Sarah, I am reminded of the old adage the enemy of good is perfection. I donut mastopexy and internal bra will require external scars some of the cost may be related to the fact that you have an excellent result out and you are risking something that may not be as promising terms of a result. Dear Ming Liang, based on the photograph you show me and your history I would concur with your surgeons recommendation to remove the implant. If you leave it in I believe you may risk skin loss and for the complications and more deformity. At the very least you should be in the hospital on IV antibiotics. Based on your photographs and without a physical examination I believe he would be a candidate for an extended mini tummy tuck with muscle repair and lowering of your umbilical position by 3 to 4 cm. this may give you the result you’re seeking without the need for the longer scar and will allow you to keep this car in the very low abdomen with in the pubic Hairline. It’s a little difficult to tell from your photographs but personally I would suggest taking more skin out your lower abdomen and bring your belly button down three or 4 cm and suturing it to the muscle at that point. Based on the limited photographs it appears that you must have had significant excess skin and fatty tissue in the area beneath your jawline. I don’t believe that you would’ve been a candidate for a “lifestyle lift”. You would’ve benefited more by the traditional full facelift with the detailed neck left. Is unusual to have pain for three months following breast augmentation. It sounds like your breast implants could be riding high or that you may have a capsular contracture. I believe you have several options available. One would be to remove the implants placed them subglandular with a mastopexy. Another would be to use Siri or Stratus to correct the double bubble and then perform mastopexy. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but at age almost 19 is probably unlikely that your breast will get much bigger unless you gain weight. At age 19 you can get saline implants but you are unable to get silicone implants in until you reach age 22. I would suggest discussing this with your mother. This could be the saline implant that is slipped around the muscle. It could also be transmitted from beneath muscle through any fluid medium such as a hematoma or collection of serous fluid. Your breast tissues usually thickest at the nipple and as you go away from the nipple breast tissue gets thinner and thinner with large implants the implant may extend beyond the breast tissue envelope where you can palpate it. Would discuss this with your PlasticSurgeon at the time of your next visit….

Your Breasts will change gradually over a period of 6 to 8 weeks. There will be even subtle changes beyond that. Your contour and shape appears very good. The bruising and discoloration will go away over a period of approximately 3 weeks. Your breasts will gradually soften over 6 to 8 weeks.
