Statement: Ever since I was a young girl, I have always appreciated beauty. From my years in the Joffrey Ballet Company, to my current Ashtanga yoga practice, this has manifested itself in my life in many ways.

So it’s only natural that when I trained as a doctor and joined the faculty of the Harvard Medical School, I would be drawn to the skin-care and aesthetics side of the medical world. After I was rigorously trained in the most modern and advanced medical aesthetic treatment methods, I was awarded a diploma in aesthetic medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and I started my medical aesthetics practice in 2006.

Today, I work hard to offer the best medical aesthetics treatments at Dr. Happe Medical Aesthetics, in the best possible environment: a private and discreet location with no signage on the street. My patients come from in and around Boston, Newton, Wellesley, Weston, Waltham, Watertown, Lexington, and Concord, as well as all across Massachusetts, for BOTOX®, dermal fillers, chemical peels, Kybella®, collagen induction treatments, and other aesthetic services. Many patients travel to be treated at my medical spa, from the North and South Shores, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut—even flying in from Cape Cod for cosmetic treatments or traveling up from New York City.

I believe in a subtle, “less-is-more” approach to aesthetic treatments. This means people won’t notice that you had work done. They’ll just notice how great you look!

Once you have already had the Opus Laser treatment, what product should you use on your skin?
Post Opus treatment skincare
Aug 12, 2021
After the Opus procedure your skin is going to look and feel like it is badly sunburned and just like a sunburn you want to keep it moist. There are many medical grade post procedure products and every physician will have a specific regimen and recommended product that they are most familiar with. There are a couple products that I love post Opus procedure. Environ’s Super Moisturizer and Antioxidant gel together or IS Clinical Shield Recovery Balm. I always recommend to stay very well…
Painful having filler treatment and still sore in jowl area.
still sore in jowl area
Mar 23, 2018
Some soreness and swelling is normal after filler treatment however, if you are very concerned please follow up with your injector for reassurance. Good luck.

Wondering if Botox/Dysport will significantly reduce square face.
Mar 23, 2018
I think you would be a good candidate for botox in the massater muscle to create more of an oval shape to your face. Given your time line I would recommend you get in quickly to see a board certified physician specializing in aesthetic medicine for a consultation and treatment if you desire to go forward. Best of luck and congrats on your upcoming wedding.

I’ve tried series of micro needling for my skin and I just can’t seem to get rid of the pores!
Mar 23, 2018
If micro needling alone did not do enough I would recommend a multimodal approach using PRP with micro needling, medium depth peel and medical grade skin care regimen. Good luck.
Fixing uneven smile lines caused by uneven facial muscles?
uneven smile lines
Mar 22, 2018
It’s difficult to say for certain without an in person consultation but it looks like you would benefit from fillers. Fillers can be expertly injected to fix facial asymmetry and correct unevenness of facial lines such as smile lines. Please see an expert physician who specializes in medical aesthetics.
Under eye filler at 21? Too young?
No, 21 is not too young for under eye filler
Mar 22, 2018
Your age is not an issue as far as fillers go. There are always risks with any procedure, with tear trough fillers common issues are bruising and swelling. Please go to a physician who is very experienced with tear trough filler treatment. Your physician should go through all the risks of this treatment with you. More serious risks are extremely rare but they do exist and should be reviewed.I wish you the best of luck.
When will this heavy feeling in my forehead go away?
heavy feeling after muscle relaxer injections
Mar 8, 2018
Sorry you are not thrilled with your treatment. The heaviness will usually ease up after 6 weeks so hopefully you will get a little movement back soon and be able to lift your eyebrows again. It takes between 3-5 months generally for the effects to fully wear off so hang in there. Next time if you decide to try it again make sure to let your physician know that you prefer a much lower dose that allows for just a little relaxation with movement still present. Usually the dose can be tailored…
