Hello. You are soon on your way to great results. I suggest to wash the ointment off completely through out the day. The vinegar will reduce redness and inflammation and actually speed up the healing process in some cases. I realize this process is tiresome, however it is just needed for 24 hours following the treatment. After the first day you can return to your normal skin care routine.

I will say that your skin has a better ability to repair itself at a younger age due to the natural collagen and elastin reproduction in the skin. As you age, this production slows.
