What kind of eye surgery should I do? Eyeballs are uneven, not eyelids
Asian eyelid crease height or Browlift
Jun 8, 2022
Asian eyelid crease height or Browlift. Creating a more defined crease or a higher eyelid crease are very common concerns I see in my practice.

Your exact changes are best assessed with a face-to-face consultation with a surgeon so that they could determine your skin type and your particular aesthetic goal.

During my consultations, I used a crease probe to simulate different crease shapes and heights. Based on what you like best, I can give you an idea of the type of surgery recommended...

Why are my eyes asymmetrical? What procedures can make the right eye look like the left one? (photos
Eyelid Surgery
Oct 21, 2021
Defining creases or creating higher eyelid creases for uneven creases are common concerns I witness in my practice. However, for a concrete idea of what procedures would be recommended, I recommend coming in for a face-to-face consultation. During my consultations, I simulate different crease shapes and heights with a crease probe to get a visual representation of what the results may look like. An in-person consultation would also help the surgeon better understand what type of skin they...
How to make my eyes more almond shape?
Browlift vs Eyelid surgery vs Upper Blepharoplasty
Oct 21, 2021
The specific aesthetic shape that you wish to achieve, along with concerns regarding asymmetry in the eyelids, is a commonly observed desire and concern among patients. However, because surgical changes and results depend on specifics such as skin type, I recommend coming in for a face-to-face consultation. Personally, I utilize crease probes during consultations to simulate different crease shapes and heights to gauge a better understanding of aesthetic goals.
Drooping eyelids. What procedure can fix this?
Browlift vs Eyelid surgery vs Upper Blepharoplasty
Oct 21, 2021
Since droopiness can be due to several causes and eyelid surgery must be tailored to specific needs, I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon determine the course that would be best for you.
Would unilateral eyelid surgery help one droopy eyelid?
Browlift vs Eyelid surgery vs Upper Blepharoplasty
Oct 21, 2021
Droopiness is often caused by several different factors and sometimes even a culmination of many factors. Furthermore, since eyelid surgery requires an understanding of personally specific information, such as skin type, I recommend meeting with a plastic surgeon face-to-face to understand better what procedures can help with symmetry.
Is surgery the only way to fix my "ptosis"?
Ptosis
Sep 29, 2021
The concerns you have expressed are common for patients seeking eyelid surgery. Surgery is able to address two major anatomic structures: pseudoptosis and ptosis. Your question has expressed that you are concerned with ptosis. Ptosis occurs when muscles that are responsible for opening the eyelids do not function properly. Thus, the upper eyelid may not open high enough and can interfere with a patient's vision. This can be caused by multiple medical issues, and surgery can be performed to...
The eyelids and creases are both asymmetrical. Am I a good candidate for eyelid surgery?
Asian blepharoplasty
Sep 29, 2021
Creating symmetrical, more defined creases are prevalent concerns that I witness in my practice. A face-to-face consultation best assesses specific changes, as the surgeon must determine your skin type and personal aesthetic goal. During consultations, I use a crease probe to stimulate different crease shapes and heights to decide your aesthetic plan better. Based on the consultation, I can give you a better idea of the recommended surgery and recovery process.

Non-surgical Nose Job Procedures to Reduce Nose Size?
Non surgical rhinoplasty
Aug 15, 2016
Injectable rhinoplasty using facial fillers has become very popular over the past few years.  They can be a good alternative to surgery it patients need to build up or add to depressions along the bridge of the nose.  They are called filler, because they add volume, so these products cannot be used to make the nose "smaller."  However, they can be used to give the nose a more balance shape which can potentially achieve the result of a reductions rhinoplasty.
Rhinoplasty Swelling
Swelling after rhinolplasty
Aug 15, 2016
I typically tell my patients to expect bruising and swelling after the surgery.  The first month after surgery patients can frequently see daily changes.  After about 6 weeks 80-90% of the swelling has resolved, however the last 10-20% can take months to resolve.
Composite Graft Repair versus Alar Rim Cartilage Graft Repair for an External Notched Scar at the Up
Alar notch
Feb 2, 2015
Alar notching can be a very complex problem to fix during rhinoplasty surgery. The best answer I can give you is it depends on the severity of the notching. There is not one best option that fits for everyone. Best of luck.

What are the best methods to stabilize a shield graft in an Asian patient?
Tip graft
Feb 2, 2015
Good question. Sounds pretty technical. Your answer really depends are what is required for your desired aesthetic goals. If your are looking to increase tip rotation and projection, then the shield graft could be re-positioned. If this does not completely address the issues then additional tip defining techniques may be required.Of course with revision rhinoplasty scar tissue will be of concern for the surgeon.
