Fat grafting is a common additional procedure done with facial rejuvenation surgery to help improve facial volume and contour after a lift. Unfortunately, the longevity of the fat or the viability of the fat can be widely variable among patients. How well the fat graft takes may be impacted by how the fat was grafted or transferred as well. Once the fat grafts are placed and heal in, they usually don't grow or get more full.
