Thanks for your question brownowl. From your photos, you appear to have an excellent reconstruction. I do see the lines that concern you and this could be rippling, however, it could also just be related to postoperative swelling secondary to internal scar release at the time of your exchange. Thank you for your question tara3925. It is important to know that liposuction, in of itself, is not considered a weight loss procedure. Although during a BBL fat is removed from body areas, much of this fat will be purified and re-injected into the buttock region. The amount of fat removed and injected into the buttocks varies by individual and among surgeons. Based on your photo and description of symptoms, this most likely represents common muscular symptoms following submuscular breast implant placement. However, I generally don't recommend strenuous activity for at least 6 weeks after augmentation with anatomic implants.
