Can you identify the four major issues with this patient’s nose? They are: 1)a plunging tip 2)a dorsal hump 3)a bulbous tip 4)no tip projection. Male rhinoplasty surgery possesses different demands as compared to female rhinoplasty surgery, as the goal is to fashion a natural – yet masculine – nose. I crafted a columnar strut to create projection and to stop the tip from plunging. I also performed a small trim of the cephalad portion of the lower-lateral cartilages to produce appropriate tip detail. In addition, the bump was filed and the nose made more proportionate overall.
