Answer Snippet
Broken Capillaries Recurring After 3 Weeks, how Many Treatments Required to Get Rid of Facial Vein
Laser treatment of facial veins around the nose
Sep 3, 2012
Vessels on the sides of the nose (ala nasi) always respond to treatment with a variety of lasers or light sources, such as the pulsed dye laser, the Nd:YAG green light laser, or IPL light, but they very frequently recur. There is no one laser or type of treatment that will guarantee permanant removal. It's very frustrating, because the vessels almost always easity disappear, but extremely frequently come back some days, weeks, or months later.

Pulse Dye Laser Therapy For Thread Veins on Face. Used Concealer and Skin Turned Yellow?
Yellow color after pulse dye laser treatment
Sep 3, 2012
The yellow color is simply the result of a fading bruise. It will slowly diminish, going

from a yellow-blue color to a light tan, then disappear totally. It may take up to a

couple weeks too do so, depending on the intensity of the original purpura (bruise) caused

by the laser impact.

Can Pulse Dye Laser Treatment of Port Wine Stain Cause Seborrheic Dermatitis?
Dermatitis after pulsed dye laser for port wine stain
Sep 3, 2012
Dermatitis rarely is seen in areas treated with the pulsed dye laser. The cause is unknown and it usuallly responds to treatment with mild topical corticosteroids. It also tends to slowly disappear on it's own, but continued treatments may keep it active. I would not term it seborrheic dermatitis- it's mild eczematous dermatitis somehow induced by the interaction of short pulses of yellow light and the skin.

Droopy Eyes After Botox?
Treating eyelid droop (ptosis) after injection of Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin
Aug 30, 2012
Eyelid droop (ptosis) is an uncommon but not rare complication of injection of botulinum toxins into the glabellar (frown) area. It is most likely due to the injection on the brow in the midpupillary line, but may occur from the injection just above and lateral to the nose. The duration is usually only a few weeks but occasionally it lasts the several month duration of the Botox, Dysport or Xeomin injections. If treating with iopidine drops, be sure that you position your head so that...
