Hello and thank you for your question.  My best advice is to discuss this with your surgeon.  There is some variation in recommendations amongst surgeons after rhinoplasty and some of it depends on the specifics of the procedure.  In general, after rhinoplasty, patients wear a nasal splint for 1 week.  Once the splint is removed, the face and nose can be gently washed with a gentle face wash.  At 7-10 days, you can return to using your normal facial products with care to not rub the nose...

Brow lift recovery somewhat depends on the type of brow lift you are getting.  Most brow lifts are done with sutures or metal clips in or behind the hairline that are removed at 1 week.  By 1 week, you are feeling better and looking better but you may have swelling to some (small) degree for months after the procedure.  I routinely offer prescription pain medication for patients after a brow lift but that is usually only needed for a few days and then patients switch to Tylenol.  Pat...

Healing after a rhinoplasty can be very variable.  Early asymmetries or marks can be frustrating and concerning.  However, the healing process after a rhinoplasty is approximately 12 months.  The nose can fluctuate quite a bit during that time.  The area in the picture looks like a normal bruise.  This can be delayed bruising or a small blood collection.  I can't see anything concerning from the photos.  Most bruising after a rhinoplasty does present earlier so I would keep an eye on this a...

Healing after a rhinoplasty can be very variable.  Early asymmetries can be frustrating and concerning.  However, the healing process after a rhinoplasty is approximately 12 months.  At 5 months, the nose is stabilizing but can still fluctuate.  Some irregularities and changes in the tip are normal.  Patience is key after rhinoplasty.  I would keep open communication with your surgeon's office and continue to follow any recommendations from her/him.

Overall, the nose looks like it is healing well from the photos.  Most surgeons use a combination of dissolvable and permanent sutures for an external/open rhinoplasty.   Since it has been 5 weeks since surgery, these are most likely a form of permanent suture, but sutures can vary surgeon to surgeon, especially if you had the surgery outside of the US.  It is unfortunate that you cannot follow up with your surgeon.  It would be ideal if you could see a rhinoplasty surgeon in your area to ...

Two weeks after septorhinoplasty, it is very common and expected to have difficulty breathing through the nose.  As the nose goes through the healing process, there are usually periods of swelling fluctuations.  For a few days after the splint comes off the top of the nose and the splints come out of the inside of the nose, the nose can have rebound swelling.  Swelling in the nose, to a certain degree, can last for several months.  I would keep open communication with your surgeon's off...

Rhinoplasty healing is not final until approximately 12 months after surgery.  I recommend that patients avoid contact sports for at least 6 weeks after surgery.  The nasal bones and cartilages have gone through the early healing phases by 4-5 weeks and are more resilient to small bumps.  However, a significant strike to the nose can re-break the nasal bones or damage the tip cartilages even as far out as 2 months.  In the whole healing process, 2 months is still fairly early.

Recovery after facelift is dependent on many factors including the extent of the facelift, type of facelift, level of anesthesia, and ease of bruising/swelling.  More extensive surgery means more swelling, sensitivity, and bruising.  At 4 days after a facelift/necklift, you are hitting your peak amount of swelling.  I would 100% expect you to have some tightness at this point. This is a difficult area to treat in an isolated way.  Overall, I think you have a very nice result.  I agree that adding fillers here will only make the lower part of your face/mouth look heavy.  I would wait to do any additional procedure until at least the 6-9 month mark after surgery.  In general, I do not recommend any revision procedures until the 12 month mark after surgery.  You may still have some swelling.  You can consider perioral (around the mouth) liposuction which invol...

My best recommendation is to contact your surgeon for his/her post-operative instructions.  It is important to follow all instructions after surgery as closely as possible to optimize the results.  There is some variation amongst surgeons on this issue. I recommend that my patients wait at least 6 weeks after surgery to restart tretinoin cream.  Tretinoin is an exfoliant and stimulator so the skin has to be completely healed before re-starting the cream.  To be sure that your skin is read...
