Answer Snippet
When performing an insurance approved BR, do you ever do other cosmetic procedures for the patient
Breast Reduction
Apr 25, 2018
The simple answer is no. In my practice I see many patients in your circumstance. Unfortunately, if your breast reduction is covered by insurance any additional procedures that you may need would be an out of pocket expense to you. Looking at your pictures you would be a great candidate for both a reduction and a tummy tuck/lipo. The best thing to do is see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss. I hope this helps!!
How can I fix my jawline?
Buccal Fat Pad Removal and Chin Augmentation - Facial Contouring
Apr 24, 2018
I would suggest a Buccal fat pad removal and chin enlargement would be the best plan for you to define your midface and a chin implant will strengthen your jawline and the lower 3rd of your face. We would add volume to your cheekbones to enhance your look.
Is it possible for your breasts to get bigger, even years after augmentation?
Enlarged Breasts
Mar 27, 2018
Yes, as women get older and hormones change, weight shifts, it is not unusual for your breasts to get bigger after you have had a breast augmentation.
Are there any qualifications I need in place before seeing a doctor for a breast reduction on my H
Breast Reduction
Mar 27, 2018
Make sure you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon whose practice focuses a lot on breast surgery, including reductions.
7 years post rhinoplasty and the tip of the nose still feels stiff. Should I be worried?
Post Tip Surgery
Mar 27, 2018
No because very often after tip surgery, cartilage is added to nose and can give the feeling of a stiffer tip.
How long after an arm lift surgery can I return to work as a waitress?
Post Arm Lift
Mar 27, 2018
Downtime after armlift surgery can vary but we generally suggest 10-14 days downtime. Most importantly listen to your body.
Very uneven hips after lipo and extended breast reduction scars, what can I do?
Post Recovery, Give It Time
Feb 12, 2018
Hi,
I reviewed your photos. You look good but you are still healing. I would give it some time for recovery and then see your surgeon if anything needs to be revised. Your surgeon to keep a vertical cut and you will need to discuss reason with him.

Thank you!

Stitch in belly button after Lipo: is it normal for the stitch to come apart so soon?
Stitch
Feb 12, 2018
Hi,
You really need to see and contact your surgeon regarding any of your surgery related questions.
What is the best way to fix the dent in my bridge after an open rhinoplasty?
Nose Fix
Feb 12, 2018
Hi Tara,
I reviewed your photos. You have two options. A temporary quick fix would be the use of fillers, which is easy, safe and predictable. A more permanent solution is using your own cartilage. This would be a surgical operation.

Thank you!

Fillers and rhinoplasty: For how long have surgeons been using fillers as a corrective tool?
Radiesse is best
Jul 24, 2015
About 10 years ago I noticed that the Radiesse package insert warned that placing it on bone or cartilage could cause it to ossify and become permanent. I realized this was ideal for correcting problems after rhinoplasty. I have since done a number of cases where injecting a filler in the nose saved the patient from undergoing revision surgery. HA fillers are not a bad idea for a temporary solution but if the patient likes the result radiesse should be used to provide a permanent fix.
Will I scar more because I don't have a lot of skin to remove?
Less skin removed is better.
Jun 1, 2015
Lot's of factors go into how you heal. Genetics, how the tissue is handled by the surgeon, the amount of tension on the closure and how much skin is excised. Skin thickness changes over distance, and suturing thick skin to thin skin is a sure way to get poor healing. The smaller the amount of skin excised, the more similar skin thickness is on both sides of the wound. So don't let it stop you, if you only have a little.
