Hello.Any non-surgical treatment that you decide to use has to be continued in order to prevent further hair loss and thinning. Even after having a hair transplant, you still have native hair to take care of. I recommend that you don't stop using it, specially if it has been working for you.
I'm an Africa American women started getting thin around edges and crown after surgery and menopause.

Dr. Yates rec. to use PRP (platelet rich plasma) and to add hair to the front, initially.  He said to wait and see how the back responds too PRP.  If hair is added to the back and it has been diagnosed as CCCA, we don't know what the results will be. PRP is required when doing hair restoration in scarring areas.  The front is considered traction alopecia, different than the back.  Please let me know your thoughts.
