My lumps have come back three weeks after receiving MiraDry?
Lumps
Oct 31, 2017
I would recommend follow up with the physician who treated you. This may be an infection (abscess) which can occur after miraDry. If it is an abscess, it will need to be incised and drained.
Is it normal to get body odor after getting MiraDry?
bad odor
Oct 24, 2017
Yes,bad body odor can occur after about 1-2 weeks post miradry. It will take about 7-10days for it to go away. I would not be too concerned. Once it resolves, it should not occur again. We have treated over 200 patients in our clinic and this is a common occurrence. Hope this helps!
What should I do after failure of miraDry for armpit sweating?
sweating
Jul 5, 2017
I would advise you to get a starch-iodine test to see how much you are sweating from the treated areas. It is unusual that you would continue to sweat excessively after 2 miraDry treatments. I have noticed that in humid environments there can be perceived sweating from the treated armpits but in reality, the sweating is due to the surrounding untreated areas. In our practice, we have treated over 125 patients and majority of them have stated that miraDry was greater than 80%…
What is the best procedure for my varicose veins? Who is the best doctor to treat varicose veins? (Photo
Varicose Veins
Jun 29, 2017
I would recommend a consultation with a vein specialist who dedicated to the the treatment of varicose veins and who is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. Proper evaluation and diagnosis by the vein specialist will lead to proper treatment. Treatment procedures can range from injection with a sclerosant, laser, micro-phlebectomy or a combination of all three. There is minimal downtime post-procedure.
Two days ago I had my RFA and Stab Phlebectomy on for varicose veins. Question regarding post procedure
Pain after procedure
May 19, 2017
Sometimes the pain can last up to 2 weeks. Compression stockings help post procedure. In our practice, we recommend 2 weeks of compression stocking wear.
Are palm tattoos common for removal? Would it turn out successfully or would it look just as awful after
Palm Tattoos
May 10, 2017
We have removed palm tattoos successfully with the PicoSure laser. It did take about 5 sessions for complete removal.
Am I a candidate for varicose vein treatment? How effective is it?
Varicose vein treatment
Mar 29, 2017
Yes you do have a condition that can be treated effectively. I would recommend an evaluation by a phlebologist (vein specialist). You will need a duplex ultrasound to look for the cause of the varicose veins. Depending upon the findings, the specialist will either recommend closure (chemical or thermal ablation) of the veins and likely micro-phlebectomy to remove the bulging varicose veins. There is very minimal downtime.
