Swelling and inflammation can subside slowly after almost a year post operatively. The nose is very delicate so you need to be patient with the healing process. Being compliant with your surgeons post op instructions will help optimize your healing

6 weeks post op is very early on in the healing process. It is a very vulnerable time and hard not to get anxious about your final result. You will see that over the next year of your healing process things are going to change. I would re evaluate how you feel about your results when you are closer to 6-12 months post op and discuss with your surgeon.
Is excessive bleeding normal after rhinoplasty?

The nose is very delicate and the face is very vascular, Bleeding for about 7 days more or less is normal. If you feel that the bleeding is excessive it is always best to contact your surgeon.
