I wanted to share with you an option that could help you achieve the look you’re interested in. You might consider a treatment called Kybella, which can be used to target and reduce excess fat under the chin. This can help create a more defined jawline and a sleeker neck profile.
Additionally, you could complement this with fillers strategically placed to enhance and further accentuate your features. This combination can lead to a more dramatic and sculpted look.
Of course, it’s…

Botox can be used to weaken the masseter muscle, thus making it smaller and creating a more defined jawline.
Kybella can melt the fat directly under the jawline to help define the underlying mandible.
Another option is ultrasound therapy, which can help to reduce muscle mass in the masseter muscles.
One option is dermal fillers, which can be used to add volume to the chin and cheekbones, creating a more defined…

The best way to determine whether or not you need a tummy tuck is to bend over and see if there is any loose hanging skin.
It seems from your last photo that you’d be a good candidate for a tummy tuck in conjunction with 360 liposuction. This joint procedure will address both any excess dat around your abdomen, flanks and lower back, while also getting rid of any loose skin and tightening your stomach muscles for an overall flatter and more contoured stomach.
Of course,…

In your case, liposuction of your abdomen and flanks will result in loose skin. For optimal results, and a flat stomach, a tummy tuck would be the best option!
A good way to test this is to bend over and see if there is loose skin and fat hanging down in your lower stomach.
If you just receive liposuction, you risk loose skin and having to undergo a second procedure for a tummy tuck to give you the flat stomach you’re looking for!
Best of luck!

Once the weight is removed, it is permanently gone. Liposuction will not cause you to be hungrier and lead to a risk of weight gain.
With proper nutrition and exercise, maintaining your weight will maintain your results!

Thanks for the great question! In general, it’s unusual for a surgeon to be do adamant about doing a breast augmentation with only certain volume breast implants with above versus below muscle placement. There are a lot of variables, including
– your personal measurements, regarding breast width, breast volume, rib cage
– the tightness or laxity of your breast skin
– the amount of breast tissue you…

In general, a breast implant will fill out your breast and/ or your loose breast skin, but it’s hard to tell over the internet or even with photos if only a 75 cc volume reduction will not fill out your breast tissue enough, meaning that you’ll need a breast lift.
I would strongly recommend a consultation with a plastic surgeon in person, who should be able to tell you after a physical examination whether you need a breast lift or not…

Yes, the Obagi Nu-Derm skin care system will work in Indian, or South Asian patients. The main variable in adjusting your skin care system is how often you’re using the Retin-A, and what the strength is. You can use Retin-A every other day, or every day, and you can ask your doctor about altering the strength.
Of course, since Retin-A is a prescription medicine, talk to your doctor about any changes you want to make.

In general, it should be safe to undergo a facelift after 3-4 syringes of Juvederm. The area under the skin with a typical facelift will not expose the areas of Juvederm and other dermal filers, so your end result should not be compromised. I assume that you have already discussed when and where you had your Juvederm injections in your face with your plastic surgeon.
Best Wishes with your facial rejuvenation!

Your question can be interpreted in different ways.
If you're talking about the tightness you feel after surgery, then this should get better after several weeks.
If your implying how long a facelift lasts, and how long that tightness will last, that depends on your facial skin, the care of your skin after your facelift, genetic factors, sun exposure, the facelift technique used, and other factors.

Your knowledge about mid facelift surgical options is impressive. Endotine mid facelifts seem not to last as long as we initially thought, so more plastic surgeons are looking at a straight forward blepharoplasty, with possible fat grafting to the cheek areas.
A "deep plane" facelift is an option, but increasingly, most plastic surgeons are doing "less" surgery, not more, in the area of the cheek…

Depending on your facelift technique, you may have sutures under your skin, in the area in front of your right ear, as you describe. These sutures may be absorbable, or may not be, which also affects how quickly they dissolve.
Generally, treating this type of issue can be done safely in the office, using some local anesthesia, and either removing the suture, re-suturing the right ear area, getting a possible cortisone injection, or a completely…

Most swelling will go away 6-12 months after a facelift. You had surgery 3 weeks ago, which implies that your healing is still fairly young and fresh, so some asymmetry may occur this soon after your procedure. I assume that you have been seen and discussed this with your plastic surgeon, but if you have not, please consider seeing him/ her soon.
Best Wishes on a Speedy Recovery,
Roy Kim, MD
