Porcelain Veneer Remake
May 11, 2023
From what I can tell, you can probably have less bulky veneers placed. (This is based only the photos, without seeing what your teeth looked like before, so the actual situation may differ.) You can further reduce the bulky appearance by asking for more natural features in the porcelain (shade, translucency, contour, texture). Also, it appears there are 6 upper veneers. If you add a couple more on each side, the front teeth will blend to the back teeth better, and there will be a more…
Can Invisalign help my lower jaw move forward?
Invisalign
Feb 16, 2022
Thanks for your question! It’s actually impossible to say what should be done by looking at the teeth alone. As dentists we should really be looking at your profile, bone structure, and how your teeth fit with your face in order to get the best result. In general if you can avoid extractions that’s usually best.
I will say that if you want to hear all of your options you should see a highly skilled orthodontist who collaborates with an oral surgeon. The result you want can most likely be ach…
What is the most effective and longest lasting professional teeth whitening?
Whitening
Jan 12, 2021
Opinions may vary, but currently Kor Whitening is the best system on the market with the most long lasting results. Make sure that you have a dental cleaning and complete any recommended dental work so that the bleaching can be as effective as possible. If the brown lines are external staining, they may come off with the professional cleaning. I would recommend not to do an in-office bleaching procedure for a couple weeks after any peels or filler. I hope this helps!
Getting crowns post or pre Invisalign treatment?
Treatment Sequencing
Aug 11, 2020
The dentist is the “quarterback” of your dental treatment. He or she may have information about why the crowns need to be done ASAP that the orthodontist doesn’t have. Especially during a first visit/consultation the orthodontist may be speaking in more general terms (in general crowns can be done after Invisalign), but may not know the specifics of your situation. You can always request that the orthodontist talk with your general dentist, then get back to you when they have spoken about…

All-On-4 Materials
Aug 9, 2020
Just like with most things in dentistry, the best option depends on the situation. The most common materials are zirconia, which is very strong but can also be brittle, and a metal bar under acrylic/denture teeth, which may wear down faster but is more repairable and less costly. PMMA is becoming more common as well, but some of the other materials are fairly new to market and are not as tried and true.
The restoring dentist, surgeon, and dental lab typically plan these cases together. I…
How can I fix my smile? Could Invisalign work?
Achieving your dream smile

Thanks for your question! From what I can see in the photos, it looks like you would be a great candidate for a combination of orthodontics (Invisalign or braces) and porcelain veneers. Orthodontics help to move your teeth into a more favorable position and veneers improve the tooth shape and size.
Orthodontics alone can help to bring your teeth forward, but it would not correct tooth shape issues, including the small lateral incisor known as a “peg lateral”.

Oct 4, 2019
Just as all the other answers have stated, it is extremely important to address your gingival levels. A thorough exam with xrays and periodontal charting is needed to determine the best options to lengthen your teeth (raise your gum line). Surgery has been recommended, and may indeed be your best option. However, sometimes your teeth can also be moved orthodontically to raise your gum line.
It is also important to try to determine what is causing the severe grinding to make…
