Can someone have Thermiva treatments after a recent colposcopy?

Once you are fully healed, it should be fine. Radio frequency is extremely effective and safe. Healing after a cervical biopsy should only take about 1 week. However, your doctor can perform quick exam to insure your fully healed, then perform the treatment.  I hope this helps !

I would agree with the other physicians and surgeons. However, if you are thinking about another child in the future, I would strongly discourage surgical repair at this time. There are other noninvasive methods to address these issues by the use of lasers or radiofrequency gyn platforms.  I personally recommend radiofrequency treatment. I hope this helps ! You should wait until cleared by your Ob/Gyn.  That’s at least 6 weeks. You need to have a thorough pelvic exam and screening before starting ANY Thermiva treatment series.  But stayed tuned, a newer, improved RF device will soon be available on a limited basis in the US. I hope this helps.

You sound like a perfect candidate for non invasive vaginal tightening with radio frequency. You would need an exam prior to the treatment of course.  I never recommend major cosmetic pelvic surgery until child birth is completed.  Pregnancy, c-section,  and vaginal birth all change and damage the pelvic tissues and thus can ruin any surgery performed in the pelvis.  You can have non invasive radio frequency before and after each pregnancy (as early as 6 weeks postpartum).  I hope this…

I would call your surgeon’s office and request a appointment with the surgeon. I am not sure what type of surgeon performed your procedure but an exam by an ob/gyn trained in cosmetic procedures may be warranted. You may need to use serial dilators and pelvic exercises to re-stretch some of the tissues. I hope this helps.

I was the first to perform this procedure in Idaho.  I believe it should only be performed by a physician.
