Rhinoplasty & septoplasty together or separate for best results?
Rhinoplasty + Septoplasty Together
Jun 21, 2022
Hi Genuine3445,
Thank you for your question! It is best to do a septoplasty with a rhinoplasty, as the surgeon can use the cartilage normally thrown away in a septoplasty as graft material for nasal reconstruction.
Yes, a lip lift with a nostril reduction can be done as well.

Can a rhinoplasty coupled with an adenoidectomy procedure cause a hypertropia or hyperphoria? 4 years p
Neuroopthalmologist Recommended
Jun 21, 2022
Hi goldadam,
Thank you for your question! A Rhinoplasty coupled with an adenoidectomy procedure would not be related to it. I recommend having a Neuroopthalmologist examine you.

Is it safe to have a rhinoplasty when you have a perforated septum?
Rhinoplasty with Perforated Septum
Jun 21, 2022
Hi heydoctors,
Thanks for your question! Yes, it is safe to have a Rhinoplasty with a perforated septum, but your surgeon must be prepared and capable of using ear and rib cartilage grafting.

Is it ok to get a face tattoo 3 weeks before Rhinoplasty?
Lip Blushing + Rhinoplasty
Jun 21, 2022
Hi poutnfluff,
Thank you for your question! Having a Rhinoplasty within 3 weeks of lip blushing should be fine, if all heals as it should. Having said that, I’d be cautious of getting permanent tattoos on the lips, considering how it can look over time.

What surgical techniques cause the tip to drop/soften over the healing period?
Rhinoplasty Results + Technique
Jun 21, 2022
Hi kawaiilover,
Thank you for your question! The tip should not drop if support is built in properly and all heals well.Multiple techniques will give you the same reliable results, with open being the most reliable.

Tattoo before surgery – is 3 weeks ample time to not risk any infection between tattoo and Rhinoplasty?
Tattoo Before Surgery
Jun 21, 2022
Hi Sensible5665,
Thank you for your question! Between the tattoo and Rhinoplasty, 3-4 weeks is ample time to not risk any infection. It should not be a problem as long as the tattoo healing goes as it usually does.

9 months post op & nose tip still looks droopy & swollen – is it normal at this stage?
Septorhinoplasty Results
Jun 21, 2022
Hi Powerful815259,
Thank you for your question! I recommend waiting one full year. The last part of swelling to go down is the tip and columella. At the year mark if you are still unhappy with the look of it, I suggest seeing your surgeon and getting their thoughts on a possible revision.

Nose makes noise 17 years after break – advice?
Advice
Jun 21, 2022
Hi LexG8,
Thank you for your question! You may have separated one of the cartilages in your nose from the rest of the framework. It usually means it is unstable, and may twist on you over time. I recommend seeing a specialist for a proper exam to prevent issues down the road. The piercing likely has nothing to do with it.

What are my options to treat a red and discolored mark on the bridge of my nose after rhinoplasty?
Treatment Option
Jun 21, 2022
Hi Powerful793044,
The most common reason for the discoloration you are describing is telangiectasias, which are small spider veins. These are best treated by laser, which can specifically target these small vessels. People prone to telangiectasias are likely to have more appear – if you look closely, you may have some small ones over your cheeks.
It will take a series of laser treatments to make it better.

Am I a good candidate for rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty Candidate
Jun 21, 2022
Hi nancygaal,
Thank you for your question! Based on your photos, yes, crookedness, droopiness, and the projection of your nose could be corrected with Rhinoplasty. A comprehensive consultation is recommended to determine your candidacy for surgery.

Unsure if laser (or what kind) is needed or mini or mid facelift or threads?
Facelift or Laser Procedure
Jan 10, 2022
Hi Sunshineparati,Thank you for your question. A midface lift will suspend and deal with laxity. Co2 laser or other surface procedures will help with fine lines – they slightly tighten skin but don’t actually lift anything.- Dr. Yadro Ducic, MD
Is there scientific proof that Deep Plane Facelift has more advantages than a SMAS Lift? Thank you in a
Deeper Dissection Plane, More Natural Result
Jan 10, 2022
Hi normabeautiful, Thank you for your question. The deeper the dissection plane is, the less pull on the overlying skin and the more natural the result. – Dr. Yadro Ducic, MD
Any doctors who perform transconjunctival subperiosteal midface lit using bony fixation?
Transconjunctival Subperiosteal Midface Lift using Bony Fixation
Jan 10, 2022
Hi mikeolsonmike,Thank you for your question. We can do this, but it is important to understand even with this you will likely need some pull from the side (upper facelift/temporal lift) as the soft tissue will have an unusual orientation otherwise. You may also want to consider simple filler or fat graft to the midface as an alternative, as that won’t affect other areas.- Dr. Yadro Ducic, MD
Dissolving fillers prior to facial plastic surgery consultation or surgery?
Filler + Facial Surgery
Jan 10, 2022
Hi Compassionate659380,Thank you for your question. At the two year mark, it is fine to proceed with surgery. The dissolving agent, hyaluronidase, is generally used very soon after injection for best results.- Dr. Yadro Ducic, MD

Facelift + Anesthesia
Jan 10, 2022
Hi tnleigh08,Thank you for your question. It’s an anesthesiologist driven thing as different meds are provided by each. I suggest visiting with them ahead of time. I would be leery of sedation alone for a facelift, as if having an attack you want to be in a controlled environment and not just an office setting.- Dr. Yadro Ducic, MD
