Smart Laser Lipo of your neck would be under local anesthesia and very safe. It would be a good option for you with the expectation of better definition of your jawline and tightening of the neck. It is imperative that the surgeon does an adequate amount of lasering for best results.

If you gain weight, it will be very difficult for it to come back to the area of liposuction because there are fewer fat cells to enlarge. However, the weight can show up in untreated areas of the body or in your visceral area bellow the abdominal wall. I try to avoid liposuction in patients with a history of 20# weight swings and highly recommend attempting to stay at least weight-neutral moving forward after surgery. Weight management and lifestyle changes needs a part of the commitment.

My initial concern looking at your photos is what the integrity of your abdominal muscle wall is like and also the amount of visceral fat you appear to have. Get an in-person consult to further evaluate but a tummy tuck may need to be a part of your answer.
Is it common for Smart Lipo to include a separate fee for the laser?

In our practice, we price a procedure to cover all aspects of the surgery and even followup. We do the procedure in-house and no anesthesia support is needed. However, many places are different and may involve separate fees that should be revealed prior to signing up. Be careful and no what cost to expect and what you are paying for. I have never seen a separate "Laser Fee".

The abdomen area has several factors going on. With pregnancies you have stretching of the abdominal wall (or even separation) and of the skin. In addition to subcutaneous fat (fat you can pinch), everyone also has visceral fat (below the abdominal muscle) in varying degress which cannot be liposuctioned.
So, an exam is essential to evaluate all of these factors. A tummy tuck may ultimately be necessary for a desired result. My recommendation is to get an in-person consult.

How areas are separated out vary from place to place and surgeon to surgeon, so the answer is more confusing than it should be. Our areas are divided into upper and lower abdomen, lovehandles, and braline fat.
