Is it possible to fix my asymmetrical lips with Juvederm?
Lip asymmetry
May 4, 2017
Hi,
Thanks for your question and sharing your pictures. Lip asymmetry can be fixed with a variety of dermal fillers. You have naturally full lips so I would advise a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon near you to discuss which dermal filler would give you the optimal results. I hope this is helpful and wish you all the best!

I just had Botox injected in my forehead 3 days ago. Are the indentations in my forehead permanent?
Indentations
May 1, 2017
Hi,
The indentations you have are temporary and should go away with time. If you notice they are persistent I recommend you make an appointment with your injector / dermatologist to have them assessed.

Left side of my face drooping after Kybella?! Is this normal?
Mouth drooping
Apr 25, 2017
Hi,
Dropping after Kybella is possible and is a side effect of injection around the marginal mandibular nerve. Typically this side effect is temporary, but I would recommend calling your injector to have a formal evaluation in clinic. They can discuss with you what to expect and the typical duration of symptoms. Time is typically the best medicine for this type of side effect. In our clinic we see patients in follow-up from 10-12 weeks because we do not notice maximum fat loss and skin…
Is this a normal amount of swelling for tear duct Juvederm filler treatment?
Juvederm and swelling
Apr 25, 2017
Hi,
Thanks for your question and sharing your pictures. Dermal fillers under the eyes typically swell quite a bit and this can last up to two weeks. Product choice in this area is quite important. Juvederm under the eyes will often absorb water and end up looking puffy/swollen. At this point I would recommend ice and an antihistamine, like zyrtec, to help expedite the resolution of the swelling. If you still have considerable swelling /puffiness after two to three weeks…

Under eye wrinkles
Apr 25, 2017
Hi,
Thanks for your question and sharing your pictures. The under eyes are quite susceptible to damage from the sun and volume loss because the skin in this area is quite thin and constantly exposed to the sun. Damage usually builds slowly over time and typically does not appear within a matter of months. Fine lines and wrinkles in this area can be softened with Botox. If you have wrinkles that are present at rest a laser resurfacing procedure or a chemical peel will help to soften…
Can I use betamethasone as a spot treatment for some breakouts ? 5 times a month? Or is it dangerou
Betamethasone
Apr 25, 2017
Hi,
Thanks for your question. It is not a good idea to use this medication for breakouts. It may worsen or cause a condition that looks like acne called peri-oral dermatitis ( or peri-ocular dermatitis). Please make an appointment with a dermatologist in your area and discuss treatment options for your breakouts. Hope this helps.

Experienced immediate mandibular paralysis after Kybella. Should I be trusting this Dr to perform t
Nerve injury
Apr 21, 2017
Hi,
Thanks for your question and I’m sorry you had a bad experience with your first Kybella injection. Based on your description you have injury to the marginal mandibular nerve. When injected on label using the grid system provided by Allergen this is a rare side effect. If the injector explained to you that he/she was going off label to inject a pocket of fat around this nerve then it is more of an expected side effect. I have heard from most injectors that this side effect is…
