I am not sure what look you were going for but it appears that you may have an asymmetry. Better pictures are needed and perhaps a visit to your surgeon as well.
Good Luck

It is a great question. You wouldn't be wrong for separating them but it would be unnecessary in my opinion. Most facial plastic surgeons are good at both... look at the before and afters.
Good Luck

Its a bit early but you do appear to have some asymmetry of the tip and the nostril. It appears to be minor but significant at this point but time will tell if it gets better, stays the same or worsens over time. At the 6 month mark you will have a better idea. Talk to your doctor about your concerns. I am sure you will see a path appear that you both agree on. Regardless it starts with patience.

Thanks for writing in. The short answer is YES. Cartilage removal during rhinoplasty and over resection of cartilage and bone are the main cause of post surgical nasal obstruction. It is hard to say from your pictures but it looks like you have been over resected. This can be fixed with revision rhinoplasty. You may also find relief with a simple in office procedure called a nasal valve reconstruction. Come in for a consult and evaluation. Good Luck

From your description it sounds like you will need a comprehensive work up including a sinus CT, fiber optic exam and morphing. If you do indeed have polyps you will need a functional endoscopic sinus surgery as well as a complete rhinoplasty. If you can come for an evaluation that would make things a lot easier.
thanks

thanks for posting pictures. It looks like your scars are thickened and irregular. They would respond better to dermabrasion and or fractora than to traditional lasers. Hope you find your way to a good surgeon.

You have an infection, probably from a hematoma. You need to see your surgeon immediately and have this corrected. You will probably need antibiotics and possible other treatments.
Good Luck

Three weeks is too early to tell. The result looks pretty good so far. That is likely swelling. Wait a couple months and see. Good Luck

Rhinoplasty recovery is a long process and 9 weeks is not enough. You should understand that the nose will continue to change for 18 months. These changes are for the most part predictable but in some cases cannot be fully accounted for. Even if your nose is not the shape you wanted, you would need to wait for a full year before tackling another surgery. Hope this helps

I am very sorry to hear about your troubles. The fact that it took 15 hours is alarming. Even complex deep plane facelifts rarely take more than 4 hours. Unfortunately there is no real chance that your nerve damage will make any progress after 18 months. You may want to seek a plastic surgeon to help with the after affects. I am sorry.

Thanks for the foto. Unfortunately it doesnt give all of the information I need. It looks as though you may benefit from some facial contouring either with fillers or implants. You are young and have good skin so it wont be too difficult to give you the contours you need. Seek a consult with a qualified facial plastic surgeon. Good Luck

thanks for your reply but it is very difficult to comment without pictures so we can see what is happening. In general, revision rhinoplasty has a higher risk of complications and infection than primary rhinoplasty. Because of this greater risk, it is also costs more. Revision cases also recover much more slowly than primary surgeries. It takes 12-18 months to finish healing.

Unfortunately massaging your lips will not help reduce them at this point. If you are unhappy with the way they are shaped then seek a qualified professional injector to help dissolve it if possible.

I think you mean 2017. No matter, yes you may benefit from a proper revision deep plane facelift. You need a good interview with a facial plastic surgeon. Good Luck

Asymmetry is difficult to resolve completely but it doesnt mean you should not try. A good consult should show you what is possible and see if it meets your expectations. Seems like your nostrils may be able to be made more symmetric... Id need to see the rest of you first. Good Luck
