You have a common problem for people with darker pigmented skin. But the pigmentation is only part of it, you also have texture issues. I think making sure your acne is very well controlled is the first thing to do. If you continue to break out, you will continue to get the darker marks. I find that once the acne is well controlled, much of the discoloration resolves.

You have a very common problem. I think the first thing that is needed is to get your acne under better control. Much of what you are seeing as acne “scarring” is actually inflammation and active acne.
